Unreconstituted HCG

If I order some HCG in bulk, is it better to keep the unreconstituted vials in the refrigerator or does it not need to be refrigerated until it's been reconstituted with bacteriostatic water?

I maybe incorrect , but I've alway keep it in a cool dark place untill mixed, then it goes into the frig .
