He talks about why he retired from bb at only 31, pulling his ham 3 weeks out from the '90 O, the ignorance of ketosis diets, about fat PIGS (lmao ) nowdays that get 50+ lbs out of shape in off season, etc. Good shit.
Cool Haney interview...

Great interview, very strong views and more about the base principles, we have gotten to scientific these days, its all keto diets, low intensity cardio and 1 set per bodypart. Slight over simplification there but if you've ever seen Ron Coleman at expo's, the poor fucker has to go pee every half hour, looks out of breath when he stands up etc I felt sorry for him. Bodybuilding should be heard but healthy -
I agree brutha! Heres the other part of that interview...he talks about Arnie giving him advice early in his career on what he was lacking, his competitive years, the LOST art of posing nowdays...again good shit!

Yeah. Back then, guys actually learned how to pose to hide their flaws and epitomize their strong points. Nowdays, they don't do that...they just hit the pose with no regard to their own physique. One of the BEST things they could learn nowdays even ever so generic and basic is to practice holding their gut in as much as possible. I remember Arnold used to practice and hold vaccum shots just for that purpose alone...even though he didn't do the pose onstage! Wide waisted guys can hit a double-bi with a slight twist of the waist facing the judges and they don't even attempt it. Sooooo many small tricks...lost art indeed!Comment
