Anyone else not too fond of their family?

I'm just curious, because there are many people in my family that i do not like. I have been tolerating them for years, but i really just can't stand them. They are frickin' crazy. These are the type of people that only call me when they want something. They do nothing but nag and nit pick at everything. If there is nothing wrong with something, they look for something wrong to complain about. I have never been to one family outing without an argument of some sort, or without something being wrong with something. There are couple of relatives that are great though, just not very many.

Sometimes i wonder, what it would be like to just move away and change my number, and just start fresh, without having all this un needed stress in my life. I mean really i have enough to worry about. I hate the holidays because i can't stand being around a bunch of assholes. someone always has some smart remark to say. I just want to be left alone and not feel obligated to go hang around with people, that i realized I really just don't like. I'm just so sick of the drama. I mean the only reason i talk or see them is because they are family. No other reason. I swear i'm going to pack up and leave one of these days, and not say where i'm going.

i dont get along with my father or sister.. i deal with my father when i have no choice but i dont bother with my sister. i know i wouldnt have her as a friend if i wasnt related to her so i see no reason to torture myself just because i am.. shes queen bitch.. i wouldnt wish her on anyone

Other than my two sisters and my mother, I don't keep in tough with any of them. lol, my mother and sisters haven't spoken to each other in years.

I think we all have family issues to some extent. Shit I got 3 whack older sisters that think each of their husbands is cheating with the other. Probably menopause effecting their brains.lol I just lay low and don't get involved when they try to tell me about it. Being family, I still love them and would do anything for them since they are my blood. Hey, just remember no matter how bad it gets, at the end of the day, they are your blood. Hope it gets better for ya bro.

my family is the same way. naggin and bitchin about something ALL the time. however i do have 3 sisters and 1 brother. my brother doesnt bother me, he's always been pretty cool for the most part and i absolutely love one of my sisters to death. she is 5 years older than me but we hang out alot ...goin to clubs, hunting, bon fires, etc. my other sister is 10 yrs older than me and she kinda tends to herself as she has her own family. she doesnt bitch or nag either. thats all usually done by my step mother, dad, and step sister...and then my grandparents on my mom's side of the family. which sucks since i have to see both sides during the holidays. Its sad that during Christmas i sometimes just wanna tell them "dont get me shit!, cause i dont wanna have to listen to ur bitchin to recieve it!" lol

Having no family I always tell anyone, unless these there are major issues or something that actually hamper your own life, keep them them around no matter how bad they bother you

I have four brothers.
One has been in and out of prison 18 over the past 30 years.
Everyone else has given up on him, but I always stand by him and encourage for the positive.
He is sober now and going back to college (last time in was 1973).
I think he has a good plan.
He's doing better than ever.
