    Need help with bloody nose

About 9 weeks ago I spent the weekend sanding drywall.
I used a cheap mask that didn't seal well.
On Monday my nose was clogged up.
As I tried to force whatever was in there out,
I guess I broke a blood vessel because it started bleeding like hell.
Finally got it to stop after almost an hour.

Two weeks later I was closing a stuck screen window and when it broke free it slammed down on my thumb nail.
My wife and kids were in the next room and to avoid discusting language I threw my head back with a loud arghhh!
Just as I did that, the blood vessel broke again and blood was literally pouring out of my left nostril. It took almost 2 hours to get it to stop.

I had the doctor check it and she said it was fine.
Since then, it has just started bleeding at odd times, just pours out.

Two days ago, I was talking to the Principal after entering school and all of a sudden I felt my nose start to bleed.
I excused myself without drawing attention, got it to stop after about an hour, then let it alone.

This evening, I went to blow my nose and off again it went.
This is very depressing. I am not on medication other than an aspirin once in awhile for a headache. Vitamins and fish oil but that's it.
I have been sanding all last week again as I am finishing the drywall in my kitchen, but I had a new mask and felt it was working (mostly). I can breath clearly through both nostrils.

Can anyone pass on some helpful information?
So far I have caught it before it poured all over my shirt, tie, or otherwise, but it is very disturbing.

I am 51, in relatively good health, with normal blood pressure and cholesterol. Haven't taken any juice for 8 months and that was very mild use (EN 250mg eow, plus 3 winny tabs a week, that was it.)

Anyone? My kids are kind-of scared and so am I.

Headaches + nose bleeds = hypertension usually. But you say thats in check, so I dunno bro. You had it checked enuff to know for sure its cool? Is it possible with all the stress you been having of late, that sometimes the hypertension could just be a momentarily thing per se...like on the spur of the moment that could cause the nose bleeds?

Just had another one after an intense instruction of a class.
The hypertension is real, I don't need a check up to validate it.
Also why a cycle while working here would put me to the edge more often than not. Plus the heat in this building is ridiculous, over 82 degree's. Maybe a day off or two.

This time of year has a drying effect on nasal passages. Get some nasal saline solution from walmart and try that. Runs less than two bucks a bottle. Of course always keep tabs on bp, although
hbp is seldom the cause of a bloody nose. People with severe hbp often go for years w/o a single bloody nose.

Hey lifts, just realized the doc put me back on clomid about a month ago. Sometimes I feel my pulse pounding.
          Could it be the clomid?
My nips are swollen and I'm getting fatty again, WTF?
What else can I do (besides massive quantities of squats) to keep the sperm count up (you know, just in case the wife decides to get on her ass again)?

I doubt that it would be the clomid but not impossible. Clomid is what the male porn stars use to shoot massive loads. Nolvadex should work to, throw in a little hcg to keep the boys happy.

Vit e, asprin can thin the blood and make bleeds more likely, otherwise check blood pressure and stop picking your nose

Sounds more realistic because it is coming from the same spot. How does the Doc "coterise" it? What does that mean?

The doc will burn the vessel closed.

To stop it from bleeding when it starts, take a paper towel and tare a piece about an inch wide. roll or fold it up and place it between your upper lip and gum. If you will feel there with your finger, you will find the vein that feeds the nasal passages. This will put pressure on it and aid it in stopping blood flow. Whatever you do, DO NOT lean your head back or you will yack up a huge blood ball.

only ate about 6 cans of tuna in the past 6 months
Sodium must be low. I rarely use salt or eat salty snacks, but I have been craving salty food for a few months.
I have been constantly dehydrated lately.
I don't use diuretics at all.
                              Is this significant? How?
