Dave Bautista Gets New Opponent After Rashid Evans Arrested

Originally pegged to face fellow MMA newcomer Rashid Evans this Saturday night in his long awaited debut, Dave Bautista will instead face a different fighter after Evans was arrested and will unavailable for the bout.
Bautista will now face 40 year old MMA veteran Vince Lucero. Lucero has a 22-22-1 record, 11 wins by knockout and 8 by submission. He has faced the likes of Tim Sylvia, Justin Eilers, and Roy Nelson, though he has lost to them all.
The fight takes place during Classic Sports and Entertainment's Real Pain PPV which can be viewed live from the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI on BautistaMMA.com.
