Allergic reactions

Have weird case. I made some gear about 3-4 weeks ago and used 30% EO and 70% Grapeseed. I'm not 100% sure this is the cause yet but I am broke out arms, legs, hands and feet with raised up red rashes and a horrible itch when I do anything that gets my blood pumping. Lifting, eating hot sauce etc. Anybody have this reaction before? I've made plenty of gear with the same bottles this was made from with no issues.

That is odd for sure, I have never had any allergic reactions but that definalty sounds like thats what you have .
I hear alot of folks who have trouble with EO oil and kind of the same symptoms .
Im assuming there is no other variable in the mix > no change in food or medications that it could be possibly interfering with .

Could be the EO, but I never heard of that severe reaction to it. Also sounds like contact dermatitis or a similiar skin allergy.

Sounds like you may have a rise in histamine levels, hence why you are having the itching and hives. Does an anti-histamine help it when you take it? You can become allergic to anything at any time regardless if you werent before. I have recently become allergic to bananas, lemons, anything which contains cottonseed oil and also stearic acid and magnesium stearate (both of these are in MANY viatmin supplements, medicines and even gear tabs). Only way to tell if it is your gear, of course is to refrain from using it for a bit and see if it happens when you use it again.

Did you start anything else new lately? There are foods that help lower histamine levels, apples being one of them. I feel for you cause allergic reactions suck when you dont know what is causing it. Keep my epipen in my purse but haven' t had to use it yet.

Yea they suck horribly. I'd rather just be kicked square in the balls first thing in the morning. I sent over some pics to my doc buddy. He said hard to tell but maybe Staph. I started 2 different antibiotics about an hour ago.

No change in anything other than a new batch of gear I made up but using the same oils etc. I guess it could be the powder.

Best way to see if its the gear is to send it all to me and I will sample some of it all ..lol..And yes you may be on to something thinking its possibly the powder

Yes, ask the pet owners whose dogs and cats have died from chinese pet products.

Hasn't gone away, still no lifts and no exertion of any type due to burning and itching so I sat my happy ass in a doctors office for 6 hours today. They think it's Lupus. Took a nickle size chunk out of my leg for biopsy so we'll see.

This sucks as i have similar allergy issues. Last time the docter tested my lactic acid level.. Mybe ask if they could test that to? It is a simple blood test. Let us know how this works out. I had all the Lupus workup done to. All the best to you

What kind of doc is doing all the testing? I went to an allerist/immunologist and also a Rheumatologist. I hope you get some ansers, cause for me, I really never did.

I'll chime in once the results come back. I started a steroid today and i'll be taking prednisone for a week or so.

Prednisone is no fun. Are you off aas? I tried taking prednisone while on cycle and it messed me up bad.

Shot of test 2 weeks ago. Don't plan on any more till I figure this out.
