Got rid of the gut, lost 30 pounds and 5 belt-holes on my belt, prepping for hernia surgery, but the next thing is getting my pecs back. At one point In a side chest pose I could support a coffee cup on my pec. Oh, what time has taken. So here's my question; push-ups aside, what are three of your favorite pec exercises and why?

This is tailored for you. Do in this order:
1 - Incline bench press (barbell, Smith or Hammer machine)
2 - Flat bench press (dumbells, Smith machine or Hammer machine, NOT barbell)
3 - Incline OR flat flyes (dumbells or pec deck, NOT cables)
After 2 or 3 light warmup/feel sets, on exercise 1 and 2 do 3 sets of 10 reps. On exercise 3, do 3 sets of 12-15 reps.
On exercise 1 and 2, rest 2 minutes between sets. On exercise 3, rest 1 minute between sets.
For all exercises, on each of the 3 worksets, adjust the weight so that last rep is kinda hard, but you feel you still have 2 to 3 reps left in the tank. Reason being is bcoz you been outta the game for awhile and damn sure don't want more injuries. After doing this for 4 weeks, start to gradually up the intensity where you only have 1 rep left in the tank, then no reps left in the tank. When you get to the point a few months down the road when "the feel" has come back to you, and you can push to the point of failure, drop 1 set from each exercise, so it will only be 2 worksets per exercise.

As I've grown older incline movements seem to hit it better. I stay away from free inclines most of the time since they aggravate my shoulders now but I do a lot smith inclines, plate loaded inclines, DB inclines. I do flat bench with my legs up and crossed so the legs and back are out of the movement. Then I lower to my clavicle. I also like the STRIVE or similar decline to finish because you can really extend and finish the movement with that machine.Comment

I like dawgs plan mine is very similar but sometimes I add cable crssvrs after flypresses ....I start with the bench high incline then lower a 10-15 degrees then more sets...flat maybe decline if ttheres any gas left i'm gonna try some pullvrs today to finish up...oh I forgot I use a smith plate load/dmbls my shdrs are shotLast edited by water43; 06-26-2017, 11:51 AM.the right to try law is a title besides its all fiction "everything"Comment

But anyways strippers are misfit toys, hyper sexualized through bad bad past in youth mostly, manipulative, drug addled, will bang your friends, steal your car and your credit cards, will give you the clap. I have never seen it come out well with one of these creatures. You have to have the right mindset to get into it with one of these creatures. It will be a fucked up crazy ride. They like guys that are broken much better than nice guys unless there is a lot of wallet weight.Comment
