    Fasting or Juice Fasting

I want to take a brief poll on everyone's thoughts on fasting and juice fasting.

How long have you done it?

    What were the results?

Did you see benefits, if so what?

    Thoughts and theories?

    Recommendations.

I am considering intermittent juice fasting and wanted some thoughts and input.

I think juice would screw up intermittent fasting.

Juice fasting is not fasting I wouldn't go near that.

I'm assuming you goal would be fat loss? Intermittent fasting 16 hours nothing but water. You can have black coffee and green tea no sugar no calories. That's the best fast for fat loss.

I have abandoned the idea. Keto is going too well to screw with it. I am lighter than I have been in over 15 years. Down to 187. It is SUPER hard to watch the size come off but I know that it is mostly fat. I know when I get cut to where I want to be that I will kick up the gear and put 10lbs of LM back on and look so much better.

Never done juice fasting but just juicing. Most of it was greens and herbs, very little fruits, mainly bc of the sugar. Anyway, felt great when I did it for awhile. Bought a Vitamix blender for it. Gonna get back to it next year when we grow our garden...

I swear by my Vitamix, and juicing is a regular part of my diet. I attribute my physical longevity and surviving the mats due to incorporating juicing into my lifestyle. I hate vegetables for the most part; and turning them into juice really helps me get the nutrients. Anecdotal evidence, but it's worked for me.

And I damn sure wouldn't get the nutrients otherwise, because I don't have the patience to eat veggies...
