MMA EVENT WEEK:
K-1, PRIDE AND WEC PUT ON GREAT UPCOMING SHOWS
MMAWeekly.com has a very busy weekend ahead as MMAWeekly's Scott Petersen is in Japan for this weekend's K-1 and Pride Events, while MMAWeekly's Ryan Bennett will be covering the WEC show in California.
K-1 is putting on their first ever MMA show, while Bushido features Brazil vs Japan and WEC has a stacked show with plenty of UFC and Pride veterans. What does this all mean? It means that MMA fans everywhere will be tuning into the Soundoff Forum for plenty of pictures and results starting on Friday.
Here are the three cards that will take place next weekend.
Friday - WEC 10 Bragging Rights - Lemoore, California
WEC 10 has plenty of great fights. There will be 14 fights on the card and here are the top six. Take these fights and they are very comparable to the other two cards.
1. Ryan Schultz (Team Quest) vs Gil Castillo (Cesar Gracie)
2. J. T. Taylor (Bend, Oregon) vs Chris “Lights Out” Lytle
3. Gilbert Melendez (Cesar Gracie) vs Olaf (Ensenada, Mexico)
4. Alex Stiebling (Pride veteran) vs Tim McKenzie (Cesar Gracie)

K-1 first MMA card - This card is highlighted by BJ Penn vs Duane "Bang" Ludwig and Royler Gracie vs Genki Sudo. Also has Bob Sapp vs Fujita, Josh Barnett on the card as is Don Frye and Gary Goodridge.
