where should "substances" be sent to?

does the post office allow you to open a p.o. box in something other than your real name, such as your initials? would that even matter? should the sender mail it addressed to your real name? would that even matter? should I just get it sent to my (work) office, addressed to my initials? am i too paranoid?

p.s., i'm my own boss, the office is mine, no supervisor to complain about private packages

well your best bet is to search yur local area or next town aroud you that has pacakaging stores with boxes to recieved mail in and ask them what is needed to get a mail box from them( ie id, but dont come straignt out and ask if they require id), if yu find one tht does not require idea then make uo a name address and telephone number that you can remember and us that place, these places are very hard to find these day s most will want id . another trick is getting fake id or you could get a new id from your DMV witha different address listed on it. if yu cant do those then you may as well have it sent to your house but make sure that your source is very deiscreet on packagingand dont get to many bpackagas back to back

How big is your company? If you've had a lot of employees, you can send it to your work, but put an old employees name on the box. When it comes in, you can just take it. But if somehow it's a controlled delivery or something, you can say that person doesn't work here anymore. Just a thought.

But for me, I use a po box at a place that didn't require an ID. Like one of those small family business shipping places.

I have a freind who owns a small bisiness and I get them sent to her. With them adressed to her business. But IMO if you do get them sent to your home then have them sent to a different name and as soon as it arrives then write "return to sender" on the box. Wait a while to see if anything happens and if nothing does then open it. If it is a controlled delivery then just tell them that you didnt know who the package was for so you were going to give it back to the mail people. Maybe I am a little paranoid but this makes me feel better.

This seems like a pretty good Idea. I'm going to try it next time!
