    Clemson BEAT-DOWN of Alabama

Who watched it? 44-16 - wow! Alabama looked invincible this year. I'm guessing that's gotta be the worst beating of a #1 ranked team ever, or at least in the championship game. Clemson was a 5 pt dog with a true freshman QB. And that's why they play the games.

New modern rivalry. They're gonna be facing each other for years to come...

I'm kind of pleased, but I never expected an outcome anywhere near this.

I'm not an Alabama fan, but was rooting for them because they are SEC, go Gators!
My wife was going for Clemson since she was born in Anderson SC.
Needless to say, she was very pleased with herself for her pick. And I'm sleep deprived and grumpy today.

I thought AL looked invincible this year. I was wrong again. I will compliment Dabo on his ability to prepare his teams for big games. He appears to be second to none at that skill. It was if they knew what AL was going to do next on both sides of the ball. And to watch the Clemson OL line demolish the AL DL and secondary at will was so impressive. The final drive where they peeled the final 8 minutes in an unstoppable slow rhythm impresses me more that the drives they scored on.

I’m an Alabama fan, was shocked at the outcome of the national championship game. I was certain that Bama was going to win before the game. But I guess you win some and you lose some. Only thing they can do is work harder next year and hope for better luck.
