    Top 10 bodybuilding injuries

I don't necessarily agree with all, but #1 is hard to beat. I remember that from the mags back then...

Nick said Franco was 24 when in fact he was 36. Cringeworthy - reminiscent of LT's hit on Theisman back in the day.

I think your last sentence nailed it. You don't need crazy heavy weights for big quads anyways. I've seen some of the freakiest quads around on guys who went no higher than 315 with squats, but repped them out for 20+ reps.

All about pumping as much blood possible into the muscles...

One year ago, I too, suffered a quad tendon rupture. Easily one of the most shittiest times in my life. I was on all kinds of pain meds on top of the constant frustration of just doing basic everyday movements. Being stuck on the couch or recliner a lot was my life as the pain from my quad was sometimes soo intense I would leave a massager on it for hours at a time. 1 year and a month later I have my leg size back and then some. I learned my legs responded better to higher reps and more volume. So don't get discouraged. It took literally a year for my knee to feel fine again. Takes time.

It is comforting to know that to Oly is still within my grasp with my Bicep tear. My right bicep has the same lopsided peak and distinguished look as some of the greats..... well... minus 4 inches of girth. Dorian and I have a lot in common, in fact I might have something up on him, my traps are lopsided after my surgery too.

Not fun to tear a muscle, such a friggen disheartening set back.
The older I get the better I used to be.
