Cris Dickerson suffers heart attack at 80 years old

Appears he fell and broke his hip, and while he was in the hospital for it, he suffered from a heart attack and is now on a ventilator. He was the 1980 Mr. Olympia winner for all the newbs and younger people on the forum and to training/bb'ing.

Huh I thought he died years ago. Maybe it was that he ha dementia.

I used to admire him and his physique. I guess at 5'8" I liked any winner that was one of the big'uns. He was only 5'6" if I recall and didn't start training until his 20s!!

Chris was a true warrior back in THE ERA when the sport was very real.. I grew up in this era and enjoyed it and followed it as much as I could. I was only 18 when Chris D won his Mr. "O" title and was just getting into the sport. Hope he survives this set back. MOB....
