New year, new me time. Ughhh

My gym was packed last night. I even go in later to try to avoid some of the rush hour crowd. It seems like a lot of teens go after 6 pm for some reason & they run in groups. I was doing g legs last night & wanted to hit some calves before I left so I kept an eye on the sweated calf raise Hopi h to jump on it. I did 5 sets of 2 other movements while 3-4 teen boys hovered around the calf machine bumping their gums. I think 2 of them were actually using it. It seems like this is their norm. It’s like they just want to hang out & socialize & be little db’s. Is this goi g on where you train?

Thank Instagram TikTok and any other social media

Even when I was an arm shaver I still went to the gym to do work not talk and sit on my phone taking selfies.

I always just get in & do my thing & get out. I talk to very few people, mostly old school guys I have known for years. It’s almost like for the status of being able to say they go to the gym. Lol

Wally you are 100% correct. The younger ones think it’s just cool to say they worked out today.

They accomplish nothing other than waste space and never change their bodies at all.

Sad to see what the world is turning into.

Hate the resolutioners...they mess up everything and ready to bash the nearest one's head in lol.

It’s aggregating that they run in packs & just take up space/equipment for long periods of time. By the time they get done with one piece of equipment I can be half way through a workout!

It's that time of year. I usually go in early to beat the resolutioners so mines not too terrible.

True that...it's insane and as I work at home during the day it gets infuriating lol.

I do change things up based on what is open but sometimes you can’t even get on an incline bench because everyone is taken. Usually I’ll wait for one of those or maybe some leg equipment.
