Most common recommended dose that I found.

The prevalence of obesity and its associated cardiometabolic complications have increased to historic levels in the US, with a disproportionate burden among individuals in minority racial/ethnic groups and those with low socioeconomic status. However, effective therapeutic options for obesity management are limited.
In this study, once weekly 2.4 mg semaglutide injection versus placebo in conjunction with lifestyle modification therapy among non-diabetic individuals with obesity (or BMI ≥27 kg/m2 with comorbidities) caused significant improvements in body weight (15% reduction vs. 2.4% in the placebo arm, over 68 weeks), cardiometabolic risk factors, self-reported physical functioning, and body composition, with low rates of major adverse effects or safety concerns.
Obesity pharmacotherapies, including GLP-1 receptor agonists, are expensive and often not covered by insurance in the US, raising concerns for disparities in access to these medications, especially in populations disproportionately affected by obesity. There is need for improved coverage of these increasingly effective obesity pharmacotherapies, to enhance our ability to manage excess weight in clinical environments.

That long of a half life!
So a 5mg vial would last two weeks and a lot of 10 would last 10 weeks.
Anyone know the average length of usage?

I guess it’s not popular or not many use it?

          Semaglutide 5mg/
          Methylcobalamin 0.2mg/mL
          (2mL vial size)
          • Week 1 through week 4: Inject
          5 units (0.25mg/0.05mL) once weekly
          • Week 5 through week 8: Inject
          10 units (0.5mg/0.1mL) once weekly
          • Week 9 through week 12: Inject
          20 units (1mg/0.2mL) once weekly
          • Week 13 through week 16: Inject
          34 units (1.7mg/0.34mL) once weekly
          • Week 17 onwards: Iniect 48 units (2.4mg/0.48mL) once weekly

Here’s the dosing schedule for 5mg. I believe your math is way off but this should help you figure out how long it will last based on how long you have been on it.

My gal is using it now. She is down 15-20 #’s. I’ve got other female friends using it & she does too & so far all are losing some weight. My gal has totally changed her diet, she doesn’t crave any sugary foods anymore. She loves it minus the nausea around the day you inject.

Tbh idk of any males using it.

Is your girl also training or just using the semaglutide?

Might see if the wife is interested in trying some.

I definitely messed up my dosage on a 3mg vial I took 20iu.
I feel so shitty. The nausea is bad and a horrible headache!
                      I took it yesterday morning.
How long do the side effects last?

My gal says a couple of days but that’s taking a normal dose. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

The worst part is over but I still have some lingering bouts of nausea, usually morning and night for me. Fortunately I got my doc to call in some phenergan just in case.
It has definitely killed my appetite for sure.
I don’t know if it’s something i would do for more than a couple weeks. I’ve read about some pretty bad side effects it could possibly cause, such as thyroid tumor.

It’s crazy. I don’t crave carbs like I used too so my carb intake has gone down in addition to my appetite decrease!
                              Thanks for the input!
