This leaves me with one question. How do we best asses our carb needs? I mainly go off of workout energy/strength but maybe im selling myself short in leu of fat gain/nausea during workout from overeating preworkout . Is there a better way? I do carb load some the night before as I workout in am. How would this translate to my insulin dose. Will glycogen stores go towards my carb requirement when it comes to insulin dose? My best guess would be some. But should I count those evening carbs towards my preworkout insulin dose? If so I am taking way too many carbs. Im fairly new to insulin. I havent noticed any fat gain but was doing fasted cardio twice a week at same time. In January I plan on using insulin again but will not be doing any cardio as it will be a bulk cycle. Would still like to prevent any fat gain if I can. Especially viseral fat deposites. Any input would be great, thanks.
