I don't see any bulge or hole, that may indicate a less serious injury never the less you should probably get an mri asap.

Oh yeah. Its torn. Ive done that to my right bicep and lesser degree my left bicep. Good luck on the reattachment surgery. Its pretty standard any more.

Lots of mobility today versus first 24 hours...I can do controlled wall push-ups today...still difficult to move arm across chest while on back but better than yesterday...bruising is now moving to lower arm some and across chest but no new bruising from initial points

72 hours post...was able to do wall pushup today and 90% of my job however simply washing hands squeezing them together hurts...blood is moving along down arm and across chest fine as it should in recovering...no new blood or bruising in armpit at all

Ouch man. You definitely tore some stuff. Hopefully it was only a few fibers and it will heal without surgery.

I actually have swelling at the upper chest delt tie-in now instead of a dip...maybe I opened up new fibers lol

That's a tear. It will show in the MRI. I would not do anything, no push ups, nothing until the results.

Have to agree with everyone here, looks like a tear. I would have to suggest shut it down also, till MRI comes in. Have a whole lifetime to continue training. Less damage if you stop training now leads to a quicker recovery. To get back in it again.

                          Good luck

Dam man. Sorry to hear/see. Get some hgh to help with recovery. Hopefully won’t need surgery but probably will. Good luck brother. I hear it’s always the stretching movements like flys that get you. John Meadows preached you should save the flys for last after pecs are well warmed up and full of blood. I actually usually do them first to pre-exaughst them, with lighter weights because my triceps are so strong. But I’m starting to think it’s a bad idea. You even did them as your second exercise and it happened. Some bad luck right there.

I'll adapt when I'm healed by doing palms in presses, slight pause at bottom,, and taking negative slower than positive and when it's not I'll finish set with super slow negative instead of pushing thru another positive..
