In my honest opinion, you should have won that show. your upper body was more than a match for the 1st and 2nd place winners, but your quads were far and away the best and should have easily put you over the top, all else equal.
Lifts is right about the politics. Also, we couldn't be there to see the posing routines. Posing makes more difference than it should in those contests. The only negative criticism I have is this...you look uncomfortable and your second place winner looks relaxed and cheerful.
I made the comment about LIGHT heavy because I know several local competitors who will shed 15-20 lbs to squeeze into the light heavy as they feel heavy is too hard to win. Still, by those photos, you were clearly the winner. Congrats on the 3rd place victory and the best of luck next time my friend.Comment
