Swimming With Sharks... flashback...

As an 18 year old Palm Beach County Lifeguard swimming near the Jupiter Inlet back in 1977 I hit a shark with my hand doing a reversal to catch the next wave back. Needless to say, I caught the next two waves all the way onto the beach in my fastest landing on record. Went through an old filing cabinet today and found this gem, taken in 1987 when I returned to the beach as a lifeguard in Maryland. In my desire to get back in shape again and lose weight, it was a nice reminder that underneath it all is this beach body. Here's to swimming with sharks...
