The best part is how much better sleep is!
I’m never going to bulk back up again. I couldn’t sleep on my back without my arms going numb and I had sleep apnea. I sleep great now and don’t snore. So what if you’re not huge anymore. I didn’t like “looking small” but it’s all mental. You will physically feel better, the mental part will come later. Smart decision, very smart. Keep us updated as oft as you can. |

I believe you are correct on all of this.. Since I've stopped all gear since mid Nov, I am sleeping better, not snoring as much if at all at times, my blood pressure is back in the normal range etc.. Looking smaller will be more the mental challenge I feel, but it will pass in time just like all things do.. Thanks for the positive input bud.. MOB... |

I hope I look that good at 55! Dam! I do wonder what age I will start to chill. I’m 45 now. I don’t mind my CPAP machine or bp medication yet. Lol. At your age I’m surprised that you dropped all AAS. No trt test? What’s your natty levels of test? Did you cycle or blast and cruise? How many years? Your original post made it sound like you were just going stop cycling But you are purposely trying to lose weight? Not going to gym anymore? Say it isn’t so! It’s much easier to maintain size than grow new muscle. I would bet you could stay on a trt and keep most of it with proper diet and training.

MOB I don't know what your health issues are, but if it's only gear related there is no reason you can't maintain a lot of what you have with hard training and sound nutrition bro, AND still be healthy (again, that's contingent on your issues of course). I mean sure genetics plays a role, but if you aren't one of those types of guys who loses 30-50 lbs when OFF completely, I see no reason why you still can't look great considering how you look in your pics. What kind of ballpark bdwt # do you have in mind of getting down to? Best wishes for overcoming your health issues brother, and also achieving your goals.

Btw I think I mentioned in your other thread - that shirt kicks ass. I see 5% - is that from Piana's site? You have the exact link if so? Thanks.

Life is what is important, live it well in the new you. You already have positives taking hold, sleeping & feeling better. A good board friend once told me when I was going through a struggle that this new direction "won't be as good as where you were, but it will be better in it's own way". I'm 58 and one day I am going to make the same decision as you have done. (I have several times but never left satisfied because I didn't get where I wanted to before stopping). Wish you the best!
