Carb cycling done differently?

ok so we all know the premise of a Carb Cycling Diet..

Low Day: Zero to very little carbs
Medium Day: Moderate carbs 1-1.5 grams per lb of bodyweight
High Day: 2-4 grams per lb of bodyweight

These are all relative numbers and guidelines as there are a million formulas to set up this diet but you get the jist.

What all CCD's have in common is the high carb day(s) to offset any metabolic slowdown, refill glocygen stores, increase leptin etc..

My question is would there be any benefit to possibly ONLY using the High Carb day when necessary (fat loss slows/stops, workouts start to suck etc) and not have it scheduled every week?

My thought behind this is i do not really see the point in having this crazy influx of carbs systematically if I am still making measurable weekly progress.. in my head i feel as if ill make greater progress in fat loss if i can ride out the low/medium days and only implement a High day when absolutely necessary?

I could be wrong in all this as i am certainly no dietary guru but I am just thinking out-loud and would love to here everyone's opinion on the subject.. be gentle lol

I am too lazy to carb cycle and there are no scientific studies out there that show that carb cycling works any better than just eating the same set of carbs per day.
