    successful surgery

the surgery was a real success at least so far. dr WAS able to reattach my bicep. he said it looked surprisingly good .... tb500?

there was a lot of arthritis and bone spurs in my shoulder that he said cleaned up very well and again the shoulder tendon was in very good shape for reattachment.

i am hopeful. surgery seems like it was the right decision at least for me at this time.

      Right on brah

Yeah I think most of us have been in that situation. Stick to the PT and don’t push ahead too far.

Listen to the Dr when he says not to move the arm and shoulder around. Everyone I know with similar surgeries found the success of the surgery was directly related to a strict non movement of any repaired parts, except as Dr prescribed.

Pt is the key. Wife did good in the beginning and then slacked off and now has frozen shoulder. Pain in the ass trying to release it now. Mobility sucks. Her own fault though got busy and didn't do the little things. Interesting to hear the tendons looked good got to be the tb500 you would think.
