    GH giving me hives

I don't want to get into who's stuff but lets just say they are generic.

I have never in my life had any type of allergic reactions, skin problems, etc.

Over the last few months in between pharma grade I've been using 3 to 5ius generic. I've also been getting these rather large, red sores on my upper torso as well as hives on my shoulders. The red bumps hurt like hell and take forever to go away and I still can't get the hives to stop.

Anyone ever had this type of reaction?

This was posted by ProfessorX on Meso, the guy seems pretty smart. What he says also is in line with a number of peer reviewed medical studies I had researched on this topic.

If it's one of the cheap "Generic" GH products causing welts at the site injection everytime, then its possibly/probably a higher amount of endotoxins present than what's normally allowed in legit PHARMA GH ( endotoxin levels to 0.5 EU/µg or less)

A final "purifying process" in manufacturing the Synthetic Protein (HGH) is skipped or not done well to provide a "Cheap Chinese Generic GH Product"

Endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides, LPS) are major contaminants found in commercially available proteins or biologically active substances. LPS are highly potent immune stimulators able to cause side effects

Purification very often represents the most time consuming and cost intensive step of the whole production process. Therefore optimization of the downstream process is essential in order to achieve time and cost efficiency (3). Generally, high LPS concentrations can be reduced to about 100 EU/mL without special treatment, but many applications require an even lower-limit value as described within the pharmacopoeia — e.g., 5 endotoxin units (1 EU ≈ 100 pg) per kilogram of body weight per hour for intravenous applications.

Endotoxin Testing Analysis and Removal - Bio-Synthesis, Inc.

Bacteria pyrogen such as endotoxins, also called lipopolysaccharides (LPS), are major contaminants found in commercially available proteins or biologically active substances. This bacterial endotoxin is a potent stimulator of the mammalian immune system in vivo, and it may decrease tissue culture cell viability and inhibit transfection efficiency in vitro.

Also, bacterial residue in low grade Somatropin or Somatrem (192) can cause reactions

(I agree with jano that 192 is no longer common on the black market)

Painful red welts on injection spot can be caused by low quality growth hormone which contain too much bacterial residue (Endotoxins ((lipopolysaccharides, LPS)). This can lead to serious problems where the body could eventually develop resistance (Protein Immunogenicity) even against its own naturally produced growth hormone. (Immune response similar to Somatrem)
If the welts appear after every injection and persist for a day or two, then you should discontinue use

If you want me to tell what GH I’m running you can pm me and maybe be we both have the same lot but I chalk it up to starting and stopping likely increasing the risk of an allergic type reaction.
I’m not too worried about it since the hives only lasted about ten days and I didn’t have to stop my cycle.
Maybe it is the GH or maybe not. I don’t have a lot of experience with growth hormone.
            PM'd.

I've never had this with pharma. They come and go when I cycle in the generics. That will be my last time taking them, shame to waste the left overs but its not worth it to me.

              Follow up on this:

I've stopped taking all gear and gh and the red sores went away.

I['m starting things up again and hopefully will not get these sides.

presuming you are starting them one at a time so you know which one triggers the reaction if it happens?

I've had an anaphylactic issue with secretagogues previously. Broke out in hives and itched from head to toe. Your body builds antibodies over time and I had to take a 2 week break. Idk if your body reacts the same to synthetic hgh or if your reaction is similar to mine but the article lifts posted seems really informative. Also worth adding my secretagogues come from an American pharmacy.

Ran a few vials of generic and damned if I didn't gain some huge welts on my legs. They are different but the same if that make sense.

                        Going back to pharma
