G & R here! AC/DC & Metallica a close second, loved me some Van Halen too - damn tuff calls haha.

It was a sin for you to leave Metallica off that list wtf homie.lol I would have them on that list before at least 6-7 others, but your poll.

Yea, I had them on there and took them off. They seemed a little out of place from the rest of the bands, except for maybe Priest and Maiden. Their 80's stuff was a lot harder than their 90's music.

So i'm going to start a second poll here in a few days, maybe on the weekend. They'll be on it, but there will obviously be some out-of-placeness since that was mainly hair bands during the era....but don't worry, i'll even it out

I might go up to 3 polls when said and done

I voted Kiss. I worked security at one of their concerts many years ago and they were really cool, let some of us come back stage eat their food and drink there beer and booze.

I'm a huge AC/DC listener. No ballads. All high energy. No effects, just raw guitar, memorable riffs, complex simplicity in their song structures. As a guitar player I listen to ac/dc channel on pandora all day long.
