Add a packet of sugar free jello to a tub of cottage cheese. I also sometimes will add some fat free cool whip to the mixture. This is very Yummy.................. :

I gave up on the cottage cheese..........everytime I went to eat it no matter what I did to it I felt like I was eating chunks of spoiled milk and I would get that tight feeling in my throat (ya know when you're about to barf), so I decided this was just one food that I needed to stay away from -- and gladly.

I read in a book today (yes I read cookbooks) that cottage cheese is more palatable at room temperature. I have no idea why just thought I'd throw that out there.

I personally could sit down and eat a tub of it right out of the fridge with just some black pepper.
