    domestic violence

here is a brief over view and what it is....Most dont know the legal implications....the main point is any battery on your spouse, cohabitant, dating or former dating relationship (including same sex), or have a child in common..

battery can be any illegal touching..such as pushing, shoving, spitting on, throwing water on, leaving them in reasonal apprehession of their personal well being, life, and safety....(which includes threats)....And it is usually a mandatory arrest ..

most dont know what it is or what is about.

    Domestic Violence
Domestic violence refers to physical harm inflicted on one member of a household or family, by another member of the same household or family (usually between spouses). Domestic violence (sometimes called "spousal abuse") usually involves repetitive physical and psychological abuse, and a "cycle of violence". Specific crimes charged vary based on 1) severity of the victim's injuries, 2) whether a minor was present, and 3) whether a protective or restraining order was violated.

in California it means a a person of whom you are dating, had a child with, are cohabitating, had a dating realtionship or are dating....I want to add Domestic violence can also be threats that one makes to the other that leaves one in apprehension of ones life or well being based on threats that would lead a person to be afraid of great bodily injury or death...

it will be a mandatory arrest in most counties..

if any identifiable injury occurrs during this incident, it is a felony.. if no injury it is a misdemeanor....mark my words..this is not taken lightly...arrests have been made of false accusations and he said she said views.....

thing I hate is, someone can call and say you threatened them and you really did not, there is absolutely no proof. Some people obviously just lie to get back at each other.

the worst problem is a man or woman can take a small knife and cut them selves just a bit, or punch their own self in the mouth or eye and make a bruise or injury and tell LE your significant other did that too you..in most departments you have to make an arrest due to civil lawsuites..that pisses me off...there is too much manipulation during domestic violence...IMO....if yo have a significant other..and are planing to divorce..get the fuck out of the house....video tape your dealings so no allegations can be made and if children are involved...exchange them in a public area with cameras or at the police department......

during these cases..the only thing these dumfuck parents care about is revenge on their ex-es's....court orders are the first way to go for protection.make everything public and recorded on vidoe or tape is court order allows it.
