I found a supplement that lowered my ldl from over 100 for years to 62! I highly recommend using this stuff. Especially on cycle. It’s called Citrus Bergamot Extract made by Double Wood Supplements. I got mine on Amazon.

Had my lipid panel results come back after I finished my Test/Primo cycle and the results are less than desirable. Cholesterol- 238 HDL-35 LDL-170 Triglycerides-165 Doctor said to decrease animal products and increase cardio and if remains elevated wants to start me on cholesterol lowering med. I had blood drawn two weeks after I stopped the cycle. I will give it some time to stabilize and have it checked again |

I ask them, "are you by any chance on a statin" and sometimes they don't even know what that is and I say "a cholesterol medication. Are you on any cholesterol medication?" Then after another brief stare they pause while pondering how I could possibly have guessed with such accuracy they say "yeah.... how'd you know?" I say, "it's a classic symptom of most statins to cause pretty bad body pain. Very few don't suffer with pain after starting a cholesterol drug" Then the sale proceeds from there as I explain how to lower cholesterol naturally and the terrible side effects of cholesterol medication, the most dire and not at all uncommon being reduced coq10 levels that may lead to a heart attack. There's a lot of documentation on this. There's also new research that shows how Lipoprotein A is much more closely correlated with heart attacks than LDL cholesterol so look into that as well. |

Literally read Kluso's post after I posted my post above. This is 100% spot on. So right about cholesterol. Hence the Lipoprotein A connection.
At the end of the day it really is about inflammation. Real doctors (I call them O.G Doctors, like Original Gangster Doctors because they're so rare and most have died) discovered the reason the body puts cholesterol and plaque on the artierial walls in the first place is to close up or patch the abrasions in the arteries caused by free radicals, ROS, Lipoprotein A and lack of nitric oxide. These abrasions or "paper cuts" in the arteries are the source of the problem or closer to the source than most medical ideas of the cause of cardiovascular disease. Often these abrasions or paper cuts in the arteries can be stopped with an adequate dose of Vitamin C (3 grams daily min) and L-Lysine (3-6 grams daily) Google or better yet DuckDuckGo "lysine 6 grams daily dissolve arterial plaque" or "lysine vitamin C arterial plaque" "lysine vitamin C cardiovascular disease benefits" So use vitamin C and lysine on any cycle and those two alone will lower your cholesterol because your body won't be putting so much in the blood stream to patch the arteries. For nitric oxide production which is one of the most important gases in the body and for the blood vessel walls and can actively dissolve plaque and remove cholesterol I would throw in L-Arginine at 3-4 grams daily with 1 gram citrulline. The sexual benefits of this are also quite powerful. Pfizer developed Viagra one year after the book "No More Heart Disease" by Nobel Prize winner Dr Louis Ignarro where he discussed how to use L-Arginine (mainly this) L-Citrulline Selenium Vitamin C, E, D3 Folic Acid And 20 minutes exercise 3x weekly To cure heart disease and lower cholesterol etc But remember, the liver is the reservoir for cholesterol and ad long as that is plugged and sludged up with sticky old viscous bile, stones, sludge and parasites you will not be able to achieve optimal levels of cholesterol. My total cholesterol was 117 and I had a doctor prescribe me a statin. She told me it would raise my hdls which is untrue. I told her maybe she should do some research on statins and their side effects. I showed my blood work to a cardiologist, he said that I definitely don’t want to go on statins unless it was a last option. He said in my he wished his lipids were as good as mine. Good info on statins guys.

Very good info in this thread. After the Dr. last year told that my cholesterol was on the high end, I started taking COQ-10, Red Yeast Rice, and B-100 (this is in addition to other supps like cal-mag-zinc, ginko, fish oil, vitamin E with d-alpha tocopherol, and lots to fruits and vegetables). And then, a month or two ago, I did bloods again and my cholesterol was well under 200, although the hdh/ldl ratio was skewed somewhat unfavorably. I was on a lot of gear, too - 1-test, tren, nandro, orals. So, the supps did something, that, or I was losing fat and doing more cardio-like activities.
The Holy Grail for me now is to find a way to raise the good cholesterol. Otherwise, blood sugar, blood pressure is good. I was shocked to find that I was in fairly decent health, given all the gear I run, heavy weights I lift, pounds of meat I eat, prostitutes I boink (just kidding about that last one but whores are bad for your cholesterol. Just ask Babe Ruth). |
