I'm sooo sore and I love it!

I told myself that being out for 2 months of the gym, I'm gonna not go so hard from jump. Pfftttt - shoulda known better knowing how I am. I went all out as if I didn't miss a beat, and I'm paying the price haha. Weights on some lifts were down, others almost the same surprisingly. I hit chest n delts yesterday, and back n arms today. Was gonna hit legs tommorow, but depends on how I feel in the morn. Might need to rest tomorrow based on how sore I am already. Great to be back hellllll yeaaahhh!

    How yall feeling?

I'm still waiting for gyms up here to open. I don't blame you for jumping right back in.

Take a rest day in between old man. You'll get more out of it in the long run. The older you get the smarter you have to train to maintain size and some semblance of strength.

Gyms still aren’t open north of the border. Been getting emails of the new standard at the gym. Probably a least a month out yet

No gyms in pa yet, our governor is a complete pussy and we have a tranny as health expert so explain that one to your kids when they ask, that looks like a man. Pa is the only state with these hard restrictions and makes no sense.

My lats have never been so sore in my life. During the lockdown, I only had 20lb & 30lb db's, so just did some arms, delts, and pushups for chest. I couldn't do any pullups bcoz it kills my RC/shoulder. Hence, NO back work for 8-10 weeks.

I went in 2 days ago and hit back 100% like normal - weights a little lighter from strength loss, but not that much lighter surprisingly. My "normal" is going to failure. Did wg pulldowns, HS underhand pulldowns, bb rows and seated cable rows. It's weird having lats so sore that just to raise your arms out to sides hurts bcoz of the slight stretch in lats, and to try to lift hands overhead - forget about it!

Off to hit legs for the first time!

                Muscle memory kick in baby!

Easy transition for me. I'm actually waiting to feel better from using the smoother equipment at the gym. It doesn't take much to throw me out of whack.

If you get in a bind for back work again, fasten some dumbbells together and hit some one arm bent over rows

That "thing" Health Inspector is now in the news complaining about being "mis-gendered?' Question: when you look at "it," the natural tendency is to think, "what the f*ck is that?" So what kind of gender is that? Also, "it" on the sly pulled it's mother out of a nursing home then created the edict that in PA nursing homes "must" admit clovid 19 patients back in after they are discharged from the hospital. This happened in the home my Aunt was in and she died 3 weeks ago. In fact, approximately 87% of the deaths by covid19 in PA were from nursing homes. Someone's got some "'splaining" to do. Anyway, RIP Pauline!

I feel your pain and I'm jealous. Last month I spent a 13 hour day restoring a deck and stairs. Could barely move for 2 days. Wow! Used muscles that were idle for too long. Muscle building is like Art; as the saying goes, "What have you done lately?"
