    Halo Neurosport

I am not one for fitness "gadgets". But I recently got one, and it is game changing for me.

It is a headset (looks like a pair of Beats). But it imparts electrical stimulation direction to the brain for 20 minutes at a time. During that 20 minutes, and about an hour afterwards, your mechanical motor function, endurance, and performance levels increase.

It's no bullshit. I had a reasonably rough years last year, physically. I broke my back in July 17, got jumped by some kids on December 21 2017; and got a traumatic brain injury out of that. And finally, this past May, I landed in the ICU for 5 days with near fatal pneumonia; likely triggered by fatigue brought about by my efforts to recover from the back and brain injuries.

So anything to increase neuroplasticity is important to me. This Halo headset absolutely does that. Over 1500 studies back it up. I found out about it because he's in an Army Special Forces unit that's been testing them for the past two years.

So I bought one. I can absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, tell the difference between performance on the days I wear the headset, and the days that I do not. I've been experimenting with it for the past several weeks.

I've never been a fan of "crossfit", but that's because I always thought it was just repackaged MMA warm ups. None the less, I started going to a crossfit grinder gym frequented by some .mil peers, at 0530 in the am's. My mechanical skills, performance, endurance, all definitely much better on the days I've worn the headset. My form on exercises even when exhausted, razor sharp.

On the days where I did not wear it, my form failed sooner, and over all performance was lower.

If this thing is the sign of performance technology things to come; damn there will be some exciting stuff soon. This thing is exciting as it is.

Hell, I even wore this thing while warming up and practicing guitar, and my ability to learn, and nail down fine motor skills is definitely enhanced.

Now, it wasn't cheap. But if you want to up your performance, it is a no brainer; and worth every penny. $750. They're starting to run specials where they are on sale for a few days at a time for $500.

Hmmm, anybody else tried these? Or did Choke just by stock?

Interesting, too bad my son can't wear these under his helmet for training. His team just broke into the 30s in National Rankings. Not bad for a bunch of 1st year undersized players. I have to give them an attaboy.
The older I get the better I used to be.

      LOL!
If they ever go public, I am damn sure going to buy the stock!

Your son can wear it when doing supplemental training that benefits his main sport. The endurance increases that come from it are bad ass.

I started doing some inverted work, aimed at not only hand stands, but push ups from unsupported hand stands, down into L-sits, that kinda shit. And this thing certainly enhanced form, mechanical ability, over the workouts that I did not use it.
