Blood-flow restriction

Anyone tried this on arms? Or any other body part really. If so, what were the results? Was it beneficial?

Aklion will become famous soon enough
I am not into anything that restricts blood flow. A trainer who I have a ton of respect for swears by occlusion training, but the only thing close to this I will do is "blood starved" sets where whatever body part you are training is trained over your heart and preferably your head as well

Heard of it but never tried it. Just doesn't seem natural. I've read though that applying the technique safely via using light weights it can stimulate collagen synthesis in the joints of the area being worked. John Meadows touched on this recently in one of his vids, but said he has yet to try it.
