I remember getting it with tren E, but I got all kinds of sides from E so I haven't done that stuff in years.

When I lived in the sewer gas apartment my spleen became enlarged (upper left stomach). Also my stomach was bloated due to candida infection. I can only sleep on my sides but on my left side there was a lot of acid reflux. One thing that helped was eliminating tomato sauce; pizza, pasta, chili etc after 4PM. Noodles with butter, white sauce or cheese instead. Next was the bloat. Got “Stevia Balance” from Now on Amazon ($7/box of 100 packets). Take with coffee, cereal, tea, etc. it’s got “inulin” which forms a gel in the colon, but lowers intestinal flora & makes you pass gas. To some this may be funny, but candida makes gas and prevents its release causing bloating and discomfort. If the gas gets too bad just eat Greek-style yogurt to add intestinal flora. (Still gets rid of gas but helps digestion as well). Lastly, breakfast; you probably eat too much too late, but I digress, have 3/4 cup of uncooked oatmeal with cranberries and stevia balance in water for breakfast. Eat within 4 minutes of adding water. This way you get the benefit of both soluble AND insoluble fiber. The oatmeal absorbs water “in your gut” reducing bloating and adding water to your stool, both of which improve elimination. Good luck!

I know this is an old thread but my stomach acid kills me now it seems -
I use baking soda - just a teaspoon in some water and a large glass squirt a little mio flavor in there and chug the bubbles....basically alka seltzer without the aspirin.
also helps buffer citrulline malate ....

betaine HCl .. really help with gas ..my wife was very happy about that
Listen to this man. I was about to do a small write up on this entire subject with solutions and this was going to be one of them.

The problem is UNDERPRODUCTION of stomach acid that causes bloating and reflux! I know seems backwards but trust me it is not!! Lol

The sphincter connecting the esophagus and stomach needs a certain amount of pressure to stay closed fully and without sufficient hydrochloric acid (your stomach makes this amazing huh) the valve will be open slightly or more and carbon dioxide bubbles and really hydraulics pushes bits of acid into the throat causing heartburn/acid reflux.

For me I noticed it start after I turned 50, mine seems to occur just when I eat acidy foods later in the evening. Then laying down is awful . There are several wedge shaped pillows on the market that work to help you sleep in a more tilted position. Actually bought one because as the wifey got older she needed a little support under her pelvis during bedroom exercises.... I discovered it helped my heart burn by accident....lol

Of coarse none of that eliminates the underlying cause for you... I hope you find it and that it's an easy fix

That's a good idea. I've found baking soda with a tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar is great too

I have my bed tilted and that helps for sure and I take some over the counter antacids as well but it may be more out of habit. It may be possible that a complete dietary change may do the trick but I am not sure I am willing to do that. Actually, I know I'm not.

Any ideas or suggestions,
Hawk

Im 55 and I have never had any of these issues until the last year. The biggest culprit for me is whey protein and dairy. I have switched to non dairy protein, cut out dairy, and been taking probiotics and it changed the game. Stomach immediately flatter and all that nasty bloat is gone.

Yup have had the problem. Reflux, bloating, waking up choking on my own puke. I got it under control by modulating my diet and reducing food volume. Beer is a bad one. Too much coffee a problem. Eating too much is a problem. Too much whey protein is a problem too. Too much vegetables especially not cooked well enough is a problem. Bread is a problem. Intermittent fasting helps. Eating Kimchi helps. Doing keto diet helps. There are a number of tools I use. I rarely have issues now. Thankfully I don't have the cialis problem. I'm married 35 years and don't have relations much so no need for it and when I do it lasts from Friday night through Tuesday, the cialis boners not the sex.

For me the main culprit was trying to put on mass and eating way more than my aging system could handle. So I had to get smart about eating habits. I've been GERD free for years now. No drugs needed. Just behavior modification.
