Ephedra in over the counter medecin?

It is almost impossible to find a store which sells ephedra in Canada. Would it be alright to take over the counter meds such as sudafed, which contain ephedra?

try looking @ products intended for nasal decongestion.

However, I did a quick internet search and for Canada-Currently, the maximum allowable dosages for Ephedra/ephedrine in products is 8 mg ephedrine/single dose or 32mg ephedrine/day. Products containing Ephedra which are marketed for traditional medicine, will continue to be available, provided they do not contain caffeine and that the ephedrine content does not exceed 8 mg/dose to a maximum of 32 mg/day.

Coldmedications contain peusdoephedrine which is not the same as ephedrine although somewhat similiar.

might try looking at OTC asthma medicine, we can get bronkaid here in the states that has ephedra in it.

Pseudoephedrine is what is in sudafed and if you take enough, it feels somewhat similar, but not as good.
