Those cravings could be a sign of dehydration, adrenal fatigue or just stress. Yes it could also be just a lack of sodium intake but usually the cause is dehydration or stress in my experience (though stress and adrenal fatigue can be linked).

It's probably stress ... caused by the irregular shifts at work and my boss constantly bragging ... I wish I could take a sabbatical leave. I would be able to focus on my health.

I just love those salty potato chips even though I try to watch my salt intake overall

I know people who crave sugary foods when they are stressed while all I want is some salty crackers (better than a Mars bar or a Twix ... I think).

Very high sodium meals is bad for wellness. Sodium is well-known as it increases some style and subdues others. Food wanting is revealed twice as much in females as it is in men. I do not like very high sodium meals.
