Anyone else struggle with heartburn/bloat?
So, for the past five years or so I just have no morning appetite. I attribute it to some sort of heart burn type thing as I will have it through the night. Obviously, it is effected by food choices, beer, spices etc...will make it worse. However, I have never been able to eliminate it, only degrees of bloat.
I have my bed tilted and that helps for sure and I take some over the counter antacids as well but it may be more out of habit. It may be possible that a complete dietary change may do the trick but I am not sure I am willing to do that. Actually, I know I'm not. Any ideas or suggestions, Hawk |

You don't use Cialis, do you? Just in case, it causes terrible heartburn for me. I simply can't take it even at low doses.

i have never been able to totally eliminate it... but my problems seemed to be helped a lot by betaine HCl .. adding extra acid... lots of people have less acid as they get older and it can be the real issue.
betaine HCl .. really help with gas ..my wife was very happy about that |

The problem is UNDERPRODUCTION of stomach acid that causes bloating and reflux! I know seems backwards but trust me it is not!! Lol The sphincter connecting the esophagus and stomach needs a certain amount of pressure to stay closed fully and without sufficient hydrochloric acid (your stomach makes this amazing huh) the valve will be open slightly or more and carbon dioxide bubbles and really hydraulics pushes bits of acid into the throat causing heartburn/acid reflux. |

Yea, just look up Cialis and heartburn. It's a "smooth muscle" thing. I wish I didn't have the problem, because I really like the effects. Just having my dick brush up against my underwear feels great.

You just have to use it and see. Most don't have the problem. Lucky me.

Im in my 50's and have the same problem in the morning. Not so much appetite but a fucked up stomach and bad acid reflux. I found if I take one of the chewable pepcid tablets it makes a big difference. Ive tried a bunch of stuff over the years and just recently tried the pepcid , seems to work for me better than anything else.

I discovered that some of the liquid products that I was using caused me severe heart burn and acid reflux. Maybe start there.
