    weak point

on my bench press i have a weak spot about 3-4in off my chest where the weight will always get stuck.. just a lil after that i can lock out anything almost with ease.. what would help me break that?

I'm not into power lifting, so I don't know any techniques to help increase bench strength, etc.

Perhaps try widening your grip. Brings more of your chest into it. My guess is your tri's are your week point.

Also, how much weight are you lifting? For how many reps?

I guess I'm not understanding what you're wanting to know. In the original question the position you describe (3 - 4 inches off your chest) would largely involve the tris. Strengthening them might help in that situation.
