Stands for "User Reputations"
There is a system setup on the board that provides a way of rating users based on the quality of their posts. Users(you) on the board can add or subtract reputation points from other users by clicking the reputation link in their posts.(located on the right hand side).
User reputations allow the users in our community to tell Us which users post very informative information and those that don't
. Basically giving a rep point as a good jester on a good post.
A reward system if you will. This is all in fun, and a simple little thing to keep everyone motivated. A lot of you post very good info anyway, why not get recognized for it.
The system's been on forever, only I don't think it's every been addressed
