    Excess blood

How can I “shed” some blood without donating it?
I take some meds that aren’t allowed but I need to get rid of some blood. Anyone ever run into this or have any suggestions?

Referenced this from a friend of mine....

    From Joker....

So what if you can’t donate blood? This happens a lot because of medical reasons, high BP or high hemoglobin. Whatever the reason, you have options:

    1. If you know a nurse, you can always buy a home blood donation kit. I have known many guys to do this on their own, which I never would nor recommend. But if you have a friend that’s a nurse, it can easily be done at home every 60 days.

    2. Ask your MD for a medica phlebotomy every 60 days. They will just toss the bloods when done.

    3. Of you have high BP, consult with an MD always. But there a lot of supplements you can use to being this down. Of course if you are on AS that increase, going off would help. But taking 1-2 Carditone and 5-10mg cialis a day typically dose the trick. Adding cod liver oil and vitamin e is icing on the cake.

    4. If you have high hemoglobin or because of past history there is no way you will ever be able to donate, then here is what I recommend....
    1T daily cod liver oil
    1 cap Unique E
    1 Apolactoferin
    1 Curcimin
    2 IP-6 (Inositol-6-Phosphate)

The last 3 are “iron chelators.” Since hemoglobin carries around 70-80% of the iron in the blood, “chelating” it will naturally brings hemoglobin down.

Try this link and scroll down to medication. Probably not a comprehensive list but good enough.

I thought I read somewhere that tadalafil was a drug not allowed.

On that page under “hormone replacement therapy” it only specifies for women. No issue for men either I assume

Just get a therapeutic phlebotomy. I wouldn't screw with a home kit. You don't have a way to track your hemoglobin, platelet levels etc. You could ready screw yourself up if you over do it.
The older I get the better I used to be.

You can get the list when you fill out the questionnaire prior to donating. You can also donate and then call with your donation number and tell them not to use it. And they'll toss it

A great blood thinner is Serrapeptase. It can break down blood clots and is a proteolytic enzyme. Here's what I use to keep my blood pressure in normal range and just as important, keep my blood thin.

                  L-Arginine
                  Beet Root Extract
                  CoQ10
                  Serrapeptase
                  Omega 3
                  Vitamin E

Also, about three times a year I will drain 1/2 cup to 2/3 cup of.blood. I find this has a better and healthier effect on my body and nervous system than giving a pint at a time. I am type O so I love to give but I had a very traumatic few weeks for some reason after my donation last year

Yes I agree thank you Darkness. It is very dangerous if something were to happen.

Do not attempt to drain your own blood.

I actually have my first medical phlebatomy tomorrow. TRT doc wants to get my hemoglobin numbers down. Not hijacking thread but thought it was worth mentioning if OP wants feedback later down the road regarding the outcome.
