    reading an insulin pin

    this is probably a dumb question but if you are taking 5 ius of insulin or hgh you goto the 5 mark in the insulin pin right?

    It depends on how you have it reconstituted. Meaning how much water.

    For GH, if it is a 10 iu vial, use 1 ml of BAC water to reconstitute. Then on a 1 cc insulin needle, the 5 mark (half full barrel) would be 5 iu.

    Never a dumb question. Better to have the math right than to not knowing what you’re injecting and die... or worse.

        Not all vials are 10iu. That is important too.
        The older I get the better I used to be.
