Thumbs up Strongest curl

So there's a lot of curling going on in the iron game these days. Larry Wheels is training to try to break the world record - strict curl, that is. Here's a new vid talking about the heaviest curls of all time - cheat and strict. Friggin; insane how strong some of these guys are. James Harrison - retired Steeler phenom, just posted a vid after seeing Wheels vid, where he strict curled 210lbs, and he isn't even a PL or strength athlete. Crazy! Good vid folks....

I just think that is one movement that begs for injury. I would never max curls.

I actually had a guy about 7 or 8 years ago wanted to train arms with me. Ive been doing 145lb curls for years. I warned him to not push it. He was doing a set and there was a loud pop. He tore a bicep. It was completely detached.

That is what happened to me. Twice. Second time there was no repair possible. My father had the same injury arm wrestling. I myself was an excellent arm wrestler too and really miss not being able to jump in against guys way larger than me. It was fun to be underestimated because you are 5'8".
