    4 hours in the ER

After 12 hacking fits on Friday, the last 2 within an hour and not able to breath, I'd had enough. I went to the ER on Saturday morning under "Shortness of Breath!" They don't take that lightly. Got a full blood work-up, IV of a bag of fluids because I was dehydrated, and a chest X-Ray. My insurance is top notch so it didn't cost a dime. The good news; chest is clear and in good shape, still bloated in the gut of gas I can't get rid of. The ultra-sound report of my abdomen from 2weeks ago stated under "Pancreas": can not view because of abdominal gas. I told them that and they must have added bean-o to the IV drip because I was passing gas all night. Feel much better. In all they just prescribed me an inhaler. Took my daughter to dinner last night and back in the truck I had my first hacking fit of the day; very bad but the inhaler helped a lot so I take that gesture as a positive. I should instead get some amyl nitrate caps. They will open any airway! With the blood work my creatinine was high (as usual) and my hemoglobin was high. I asked if the TRT would cause that but they didn't know. Follow-up in 2 weeks. On a good note, by adjusting my diet I lost 25 lbs since February 1st. I'm down to 261 for several days now. Been out of that crap hole apt now for 5 days. Things are looking up. No hacking fits yet today but a lot of coughing so things are clearing up. Plan on joining a gym next week, fingers crossed!

Sometimes shortness of breath in bodybuilders is related to the abdominal bloat we get from using AAS. The abdominal cavity gets filled with fluid that pushes on the diaphragm causing shortness of breath. The fluid is caused from the liver and kidneys not being able to filter the bloodstream fast enough. It is from the breakdown of the muscles caused from strenuous lifting coupled with the AAS producing endogenous hormone. Once the AAS is stopped and the kidneys are flushed out the body will slowly get rid of the fluid and the bodybuilding belly will go down. You can help it to go down by taking DIUREX and soaking in EPSOM salt baths.

    Thanks

That sounds a little worrisome! Don't take it lightly. Depending where you live and what you were exposed to in that apartment there could be other things besides bacterial infections in the lungs. Fungal infections happen too. I have Valley Fever 20 years ago and I damn near died before the doctors figured it out. Let them know about the bad living conditions, it might lead to a clue.
The older I get the better I used to be.

Like any trip to the hospital we come out sicker. I now have a full-on chest infection but at least stuff is finally moving. Guys at work look at me as I'm going to die, during my hacking fits, but my production numbers are top notch. I've done over a dozen different jobs, some which were sidelined because others couldn't figure them out, but was successful at each. Parts are shipped out daily and the owner loves it. The ER treated me for dehydration and they were concerned that my hemoglobin was elevated. I asked the Dr, "Don't you know anything about hydrogen sulfide (H2S) exposure?" "It removes oxygen from water and air, leading to dehydration and reduced oxygen transport to cells. Doesn't it make sense my body would try to achieve adequate oxidation by increasing hemoglobin (which carries oxygen to cells)?" "Also, I said, take into consideration I took over 235 liver tablets since October, which are filled with iron (iron provides for the "heme" in hemoglobin) doesn't it make perfect sense that with adequate iron availability in an oxygen-depleted environment the body would strive to provide oxygen availability by making more hemoglobin?" Also, "in a dehydrated state the plasma percentage of blood volume would naturally be low, leading to skewed results?" All I got from the ER Doctor was "deer in the headlights!" Jeez, that makes it official, the only Doctor I have any respect for is Dr VeeJay! Also, my BP Med, lisinopril, is known as a "water pill," duh, and has the side effect of hacking dry cough. Dumping that shit, changing my diet to water-carrying fruits and vegetables, will start using Himalayan sea salt, and finally getting a gym membership tomorrow. It's time for a renaissance.

Do you have a primary care doctor? You need a good primary care doctor.
Er will only make sure you are not acutely sick to the point of requiring in patient treatment or in the danger of dying but that's it. you have been complaining a lot of random unrelated health issues and you need a good internal medicine doctor that can run further testing on you or refer you to the appropriate specialist.
                  Hope you have insurance.

                  Take car bud.
