    Geriatric deadlifts

Just had an epiphany: what if I outlast them all? Hand problems, leg problems, hernias... blah, blah, blah... what if in 20 years I'm the only one left and still kicking and emphasizing the benefits of deadlifts? I've decided that the next time I walk, I throw in a few, "run groups," between here and there. Just throw it in. Can't hurt; I mean, hell, in 1985 I was the top two-miler in the battalion, still have dreams of running (just one last night) oh, running free US freedom, but here I am, already fucked up, but what about when I'm 82? The problems could add up, yeah, micro-run at 85, that's my new goal. Inspired by Ozzy, the Bronze man found in the Alps, living/dieing, all with an arrow in his shoulder, and pushing on. Am I a modern loser or an antiquated powerlifter challenging life to present my demise? Deadlifts were my mainstay and I always loved the action. Therefore; Geriatric Deadlifts, yeah, sweet... can you hang? (I'll be around!)

I do dumbbell deadlifts. I keep it light but I do them (when my back allows me to).
