    Clipity-clip clipity-clop clipity-clop...

It’s 12:15 AM, don’t the Amish ever sleep? Apparently not, now that they have halogen lights on their buggies. I can just imagine what goes through the horses mind as Horst enters the barn anticipating a “ride to/for” at 12:05 AM, “What, now?” “Yah,” sez Horst, “Vee go to see za Voman,” (winking at the horse). Then off they go clipity-clop by my new apartment. Yes, have found myself again in a strange land, an 1890’s 5 BR 3 story, with a tree outside bigger than my head (If you can imagine)! But as usual there’s no heat. I paid for the month and am the first one there but no heat. Amazing how it can be 33 degrees outside but the thermometer on the wall in my room reads 22 degrees!?! How is that even possible?!? What do I do to get warm, open the window, ha! Oh well, at least there’s hot water and I sleep well under my 9 layers in my classic wool sweater. Haven’t missed work, don’t sleep driving anymore even though my average daily drive is now over 120 miles. Feel great, full of energy, sleep well and missed no work. In a way it reminds me of living in the fraternity over Christmas break years ago. So tell me, what year is this again?

                  They make some awesome stuff...
The uncle of the chick I'm with married into the Mennonites and converted lije 40yrs ago. We have Amish up here but more Mennonites. They're actually pretty cool fir the most part. Hard workers too.
If I had my own business they'd be the first ppl I'd try to hire.
