    New steroid? Mint?

What the hell is “mint” or “treselone acetate”. Not sure about the spelling but overheard some guys talking about this weekend?

    Commonly referred to as 'Ment'.....

    Here is a good read.

    How It Works
Trestolone being more powerful than Nandrolone and Testosterone has a very high binding affinity with the androgen receptor. Androgens are a set of hormones that are primarily responsible for the development of male characteristics and play an important role in muscle development and reproductive activity. Androgen receptors bind with androgens including testosterone to produce anabolic effects.

Unlike testosterone, Trestolone does not have any such affinity for Sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), a protein naturally produced by the liver. Note here that SHBG controls the level of testosterone available for the body tissues. If SHBG level is high in the body this means that free testosterone level is low. This results in testosterone deficiency and may cause issues like gynecomastia (enlarged breasts in men), fatigue, depression, lethargy, low levels of strength, and reduced muscle mass. But as Trestolone does not bind with SHBG it works freely on muscle growth and saves the body from most of the side effects of testosterone deficiency.

In addition, it does not convert to Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a sex hormone primarily responsible for the development of male characteristics like facial and body hair, and deep voice etc. By not converting into DHT, Trestolone is able to work primarily on the muscle growth process. This is one of the main reasons behind Trestolone’s effectiveness and quick results.

It is the best prohormone to cycle with if you want to build lean muscle mass and increase strength level along with reducing excess body fat.

    Benefits of Trestolone
There are several benefits that you can expect to experience while cycling with this prohormone. These benefits include:

Significant and rapid growth in muscle mass.
Increase in strength level. This will help you train harder and longer. Boosted strength levels help you shorten your breaks and workout more frequently.
It does not convert into estrogen, the hormone responsible for the development of female secondary characteristics. High levels of estrogen in men can lead to serious issues like prostate cancer and heart diseases. Also, when testosterone converts into estrogen, it lowers testosterone level in the body and thus leads to muscle mass loss, fatigue, and erectile dysfunction. But as Trestolone does not convert into estrogen and has the capability to play testosterone’s role in the body, it saves the users from all these problems.
It does not bind with SHBG and thus keeps testosterone at normal levels in the body.
Although it is a very powerful steroid, it can be easily stacked with other prohormones to get the best results. This is a great benefit especially when you want to cut, grow, or harden your physique. Stacking it with other prohormones further enhances the cutting and bulking effects. For optimal results, it is recommended to stack it with non-estrogenic, dry compounds such as Dymethazine, Methylstenbolone, Dimethandrostenol etc. Moreover, we would suggest you to avoid stacking it with wet prohormones as it may lead to estrogenic side effects such as muscle mass loss, fatigue, and erectile dysfunction.

    Recommended Dosage
This drug can be but is not usually taken orally. Transdermal solution and injections are considered as the best ways to take this prohormone. The recommended dosage of Trestolone is as follows:

For beginners: The steroid should be taken every day for four weeks at a dose ranging from 50 to 75 mg. The dosage should be split into two parts. One should be taken after waking up while the other should be taken before sleeping. This will help you gain about 20 pounds and boost your energy levels within three months.

For experienced users: You can take this steroid at a dose of 75-100 mg. However, the dose should be split into intervals as follows:

    25 mg in the morning
    25-50 mg pre-workout
25 mg in the evening or night
Most users do not prefer dosing at a higher range and claim to experience significant results around the dosage of 75mg.

Make sure to follow the recommended dosages if you want to minimize the side effects and experience the maximum benefits of this prohormone.

            MORE

You are here: Home / Anabolic Steroids and Performance-Enhancing Drugs / Trestolone Acetate (MENT)
            Trestolone Acetate (MENT)

Testosterone and its esters are widely used for androgen replacement therapy. Testosterone undergoes 5 alpha-reduction to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the prostate and other tissues leading to potentially undesirable consequences in adult males.

Trestolone or 7 alpha-methyl-19-nortestosterone (MENT) is a synthetic androgen that is ten times as potent as testosterone. MENT is not 5-alpha reduced to DHT. It inhibits gonadotrophin release, suppresses testosterone and sperm production. Yet, MENT provides adequate replacement therapy for most androgen-dependant functions. MENT has a faster metabolic clearance rate than testosterone and, in contrast to testosterone, MENT does not bind to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). MENT remains capable of aromatization (to 7-alpha-methyl-estradiol) preserving the benefits estrogen imparts on male physiology.

The Population Council has investigated MENT [specifically MENT Acetate (MENT Ac)] for long-term clinical use for contraceptive purposes and hormone replacement therapy. Initial trials suggest it may be an ideal candidate since it is a non-5-alpha reducible androgen and requires lower doses due to its significantly increased potency over testosterone.
Various forms of MENT in human pharmaceutical preparations and devices for contraception and hormone therapy, specifically MENT Ac implant and MENT transdermal gel and patch formulations, are currently under clinical investigation. MENT is absorbed transdermally up to three times the rate of testosterone – 17 methyl testosterone and 17-α methyl testosterone.

MENT, as a transdermal and/or intramuscular preparation, will have application in a wide range of indications beyond androgen replacement therapy and contraception, including, without limitation, primary hypogonadism, testicular failure, ASIH, baldness, sarcopenia, loss of bone mass, muscle wasting and cachexia, BPH, prostate cancer and of course, bodybuilding and sports performance enhancement.

Trestolone acetate is the chemical name of active ingredient in MENT. MENT is a registered trademark of Population Council, Inc. in the United States and/or other countries.

It's a 19 nor with no C3 ketone or alcohol. Lots of water retention but many claim highly anabolic.

I ran it once a while back. The enhanced athlete guys really hyped it up so I gave it a try. Can’t remember my dosage but I ran a good amount. Seems great on paper and it’s a cool compound since it does convert to testosterone and can be run alone without test. Overall I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t run again. It aromatizes heavily and I seemed to have trouble keeping mine in check.
