I got a very strong ether/acetone taste, blew fumes out of my mouth, had a head rush that lasted three or four minutes, and scared the crap out of me.
I aspirated every time now. |

I thought you were gonna say when it shoots blood 10 ft across the room. I have gotten a metallic taste in my mouth a few times, but I always aspirate to make sure I'm not in a vein. Just a quick tug back on the plunger to make sure no blood. If there is i'm sticking again.

When you start sweating profusely and shaking and cant stop and it goes on for hours and hours, sweating shaking puking. Then you go to the hospital emergency room and they tell you it looks like an embolism. I had it happen before, I think I injected 3ccs into a vein and within minutes I was all messed up. I was in the hospital for two days because of it.
Thanks TMM

My one & only pec shot ever - about 13 years back. Woke up the next day & looked like I tore a pec. Black & blue all the way down my bicep. Went to the doc & he said it was a hematoma - apparently hit a vein and it kept bleeding inside. Told the doc I was at my gf's kids birthday party & a kid accidently poked me in the chest while playing pin the tail on the donkey haha! Chest was hard as a rock for 3 weeks and very immobile. NEVER poked pecs again! |

Oh man, TMM takes the cake...
But I've had the relentless cough a few times, fuck that... and one time accompanied with sweaty palms and nausea... The things we put up with... It was only a few minutes though, not a fuckin stay in the hospital. |

You probably would have to mainline 2 or 3 cc's directly into a vein, then it could pose a problem.

Yeah, always aspirate. I've had the swears and a little nausea, sometimes a small coughing fit. Nothing too bad. Sometimes you nick a vein/capillaries and caused small issues. I tried a new brand yesterday and was paranoid of it causing issues.

I never used to aspirate and then that happened to me and now I aspirate every shot!! I have got blood back in the pin several times and it makes me think about all the times I would have got blood back before!! I have been pinning for close to 20 years and if I have got blood back this many times in around 2 years how many times did I hit something in the other 18 years!!!!!! I am shocked I didn't have to go to the ER sooner.
I do believe I went right into the vein with 3ccs. I knew there was a problem about 1cc in but I kept going to get the other 2ccs in and within minutes I was messed up! Thanks TMM

As someone who used to iv drugs. I always aspirate. I can't imagine having gear go directly in my vein.
