Thanks Laurie. A break is a good thing. I'm feeling pretty good this morning.

So Saturday's 5K went great, as I posted in the endurance section. Second place female overall, woohoo!
Last week's wrap up:
Ran: 19 miles
Lifted: None
Other cardio: none
Yoga: 30 minutes
I started weights back up today!!!! I actually have enthusiasm for weight training right now, but that won't last more than a week, lol. I'm so weak compared to where I have been in the past. I'm not focusing so much on the numbers though. Benching 60 pounds today when I did over 100 in the past....doesn't matter. As long as I keep good form and just keep increasing my weight. Oh am I ever going to be sore tomorrow.
Yeah, I don't really like to track my weight workouts in journals. So tedious to me. Sorry.Personal trainer, sports nutritionist, figure coach, freelance writer, distance runner, and insane person

Uh yeah, sore. Sooooo sore! Lats, chest, triceps. Ouch! Feels good though!
I did an 8 mile run today. It was the chilliest weather I've run in this year. I didn't push it too hard. I had an upset tummy, which I think was related to last night's dinner. Bill had the same upset tummy. I did the 8 in 1:19:04. That will be my long run for the week.
Poor Bill went to a fundraiser this evening. He got on the interstate and realized he doesn't have toll money to get home. We haven't even gotten a called back about our stupid ATM cards GRRRRRRR! So he can either borrow money from someone at this fundraiser to get home and feel like an idiot or get off the interstate before the toll and try to find his way home. lol. Poor thing.Personal trainer, sports nutritionist, figure coach, freelance writer, distance runner, and insane person
