    Great to be here!

Hi everyone....just an old man trying to stay fit and absorb as much information as possible. Been training for 40 years, more on than off. Had two back surgeries that limit compound movements, but despite my limitations I am 6’4” and about 265 lbs. In addition, I am a life coach and amateur chemist. Have an undergrad in microbiology, an MBA and currently writing my thesis for a PhD in behavioral science. Not meaning to brag or anything, just giving an idea of what I’m about. No bullshit. Some forums are basically a pissing contest to determine who has the thickest skin or who can post the most inflammatory and demeaning comments. Anyway, just trying to live a healthy life by living by example and helping others. Thanks again!

I’m a member of Meso, SST. MuscleGurus, etc. Basically I joined some forums and while reviewing the content and attitudes I discovered which ones fit my personality. Some I look at once in a while to SMH and others to SMH. Both in terms of flabbergast and people giving advice while lacking credentials. Not that you have to have a PhD to be knowledgable, but at least be humble enough to know you don’t know.
