From the report:
Diagnosis
A. Colon Rectosigmoid (lower left colon where it turns toward center and deposits stool into the Rectal Cavity)
1. Adenocarcinoma, moderately differentiated, 2.8cm
2. Tumor infiltrated into muscularis propria
3. Lymphatic Invasion Present
4. Margins Free of Tumor
5. Ten Benign Lymph Nodes, (0/10)
End
My Surgeon stated a “run of chemo” may be recommended by the Oncologist. This wojld be to destroy any potential cancerous cells in the small blood vessals from tumor to lymph nodes; even though none of the lymph nodes showed signs of cancer.
I am pleased with this hopeful report. Looks we got it early!!
