    Tearing Down the Kaje

Lately I have been doing more maintenance workouts due to a lack of time. This year I have been on a constant state of bulking diet/routine...I was able to put on 25 lbs. Right now I am in a transitional state. I just tweaked the diet a bit and so far in the last few weeks have lost 8-10 lbs. My weight peaked at 236 and now I am hovering around 225. I would like to get back down to the 205-210 range. It will happen in due time. The diet is the key...

The days that I am working I do my workouts on my lunchbreaks. 12 hour shifts kill a lot of your day especailly when you include the to and from work time along with getting to work early and leaving late. So my workouts are done in 30-45 minutes.

      Sunday, 9-23 4 am

On My Way to the Cage....

Here is my theme song performed by the Rollins Band. :BP:

On my way to the cage
              I'm getting taught a lesson
On my way to the cage
              I'm choking on the medicine
On my way to the cage
I'm stepping hard on four leaf clovers
On my way to the cage
I'm learning the same thing over and over
On my way to the cage
The taste of blood is in my mouth
On my way to the cage
The fear is in their eyes
On my way to the cage
              My animal blood is pure
On my way to the cage
No regrets and no last words
              (Chorus)
On the way to the cage
              I heard the crowd roar
Thoughts of you were long behind me
              I couldn't ask for more
              The lights are almost blinding
Come closer, see yourself in my eyes
              And fear me
              And fear me
              Your soul on a leash
              Your mind on a string
              Your world's inside my fist
              You put yourself above me
But there's something that you've missed
You always say you hate me
              But you watch me anyway
              It's a pain you can't resist
On my way to the cage
I'm larger than life, laughing at death
On my way to the cage
I'm tripping on pain and feeling fine
On my way to the cage
You're paying your price and I'm paying mine
On my way to the cage
I'm watching you cry and wave goodbye

I thought it was risky to do behind the neck BB presses. I heard you can tear your rotator cuff doing that, true or no?

I've never had a problem...I've built some good rear delt mass that way. You just need a good spotter and don't go below the ears. It's really up to the individual and how experienced they are.

Do you drop the weight a little when going behind the head?

Compared to military...yeah I guess just some. But like I said your range of motion is a little more limited too because you are coming down to the ears and not chin level.

Back day, Las Vegas Gold's Gym

I am always pretty stoked about working out at a new location. This one wasn't a disappointment. With first glance you would thick that everything was kind of ghetto but then you look closer and see the character. All those years of blood, sweat, and ripped down muscles! The place was pretty awesome...it had everything you needed and wasn't overloaded with high tech gadgets and cardio equipment.

                              Pre-warmup, Bike 8 min.

Bent over DB Rows, 60s/12, 80s/10, 100s/8, 120s/8 (These Ivanco dbs aren't no joke...stout and solid!)

                              Rack Deads, 135/12, 225/8, 315/8, 405/6 + 225/8

                              T-Bar Row, 45/12, 90/10, 135/8, 170/6 + 90/8

I think at the end it was Marius Pudzianowski that I saw...he was huge! He seemed to like the gym...he had a camcorder filming the place. He pointed it at me and I just gave him a thumbs up. I probably be back there tomorrow. There is bound to be some more big names there.
