Life Insurance focused on BB and PL.

Metlife sent me an email offer to reduce my life insurance base on being a weightlifter. ???

I know that BMI is being thrown out the window FINALLY. I played along thinking if I could save a few bucks I would. Well, they actually made me do a test to question my knowledge of weightlifting! It was knowledge the average foo foo fitness guy probably wouldn't know. Proper technique, what muscle groups are isolated by certain exercises, the difference between wide grip and narrow grip benching, deadlift form etc. I actually got one wrong and I have been doing this ....... a while.

Examples "What is accomplished by looking straight ahead during a deadlift"
Initiate a deadlift with what part of your body?
A wide grip bent over row focuses on what muscle? I got this wrong. I know it brings in the other upper back muscles but I still think the focus in the Lats.
What contributes to the majority of lifting injuries?

I don't know if this is some odd marketing scheme or insurers have realized there is a market of healthy people unlikely to die to sell life insurance to. I will let you know how it turns out on rates.
