      You could probably say that.
If I didn't just come off I probably could have felt normal just cruising on 300 test and 300 eq. My BP and heart rate were normal. once you're use to it it just feels normal to stay on something. Wish I did blood work before I went off. I felt good.. really good actually. Came off part out of habit and partly because I got so busy it seemed like a waste among a number of other real life reasons to just focus on more important things.

I already feel great. I needed a break apparently. I am going to cruise at a TRT dose for 8 weeks with nothing but test.

But as time goes on I always come back to just going off for a while. Luckily I always recover and I still think most guys can. I don't think that's the problem for most folks. the problem is the time it takes to really recover after being on so long and that's where the ego takes a shit.

i just took shit from Shovel on one of the other boards for telling my story from last year. I went off at 210 for 5 months. Shrunk down to a pretty lean 195 over spring/summer and got real tan. Black girls i know kept feeling my skin and telling me I could pass for black. So I guess i looked good enough for some chickies. Anyhow I felt like shit for 8 weeks. Then it got better. then by the 20th week, after lifting lighter and doing some running and some dojo stuff I was down to 195. I started squatting and deadlifting again and bumped up 7 lbs with no juice. Then I added small amount of juice and blew up to 220. Then after blasting and taking short 3 week breaks I hit 218 at just under 10% BF

Some people just look at it like I shrank and then blew back up. I see it as I let myself get healthy but still put on 10 lbs of good mass at 50 years old in a year.

Going off is no fun but in the end at least for me it still works and i get to have my cake (my health) and eat it too (my swull).

It helps to have another physical activity to get into that requires some athleticism. That way you get to see yourself improve in a different way without having to look in the mirror. In a way it is liberating. After a while I wonder WTF I am doing steroids for because after 4 or 5 months of that i feel great and look OK and everything works and nearly nothing hurts.

My way is the old school way. The modern way is to just ramp this stuff up and down and build the monster .. or at least try to build the monster. i think in the end we all ahve to come off sooner or later. I've always kept my balls i the game. This year I'm going to Italy for 3 months. i don't plan to be on anything and I know I can be recovered before I even leave and I will be up to my natural par the whole time I am there free of the needle.

          That's comforting to me.

We all have to make the choice.

I actually agree with most of this - the black part you can keep

but I also go on and come off like we used to back in the day - staying on all of the time is just to exhausting for me

Still cruising and feeling good. Weight has not changed other than maybe 2lbs. Hard to tell since I am flunctuating so much each day. Not as much hardness. Just as strong so far.

im fond of saying slow and steady wins the race , one advantage of staying on a long time is it seems to allow your body to adjust to its new size/weight .

Thanks for the update. Good to hear. I think the hardest part is the mental aspect of getting past the fact that you're only running a little Test. Once you commit to it, keep your training hard/intense, and get past the first few weeks, its cake. Believe it or not, I've probably had some of my best months in the gym while cruising on TRT.
Thats another reason I don't run crazy doses of gear, its much easier to hit your cruise while keeping your gains and/or making more gains. For most guys its much harder to drop back down to 200mg test a week after being on high doses of 3 or more compounds.

I was on for nearly 4 years a long time ago and i decided to come off. I ran HCG the last 6 weeks of my cycle and tapered down to 250mg Test EW the last month. During this period i had been over 3g of combined AAS the majority of the time. I came off and ran 50mg of Clomid for 8 weeks and i did feel like crap for a few months, but after 8 months my Test levels were back into normal range and i felt fantastic. I stayed clean for a few years and once i jumped back on cycle i blew up like a monster. Gained a solid 25 pounds in 6 weeks on just 750mg of Test.

I dropped a good 20 pounds when i came off, but surprisingly i kept about 80% of my strength and i was power lifting at the time. Once my health values were in check i knew i was good to go.

I think everyone needs a "real" break every now and then.

                  Great thread.

I'm not seeing the black part you're talking about but whatever. It's good to come off. Seems if you talk to guys in it for a long while, like 10 years or more, a pretty good amount probably will agree.

it was a play on words over black chicks telling you you looked black - hey you wrote it if you dont get it now cant help you

but back to the topic - coming off is still IMO the better option but I also confess I have cruised on low doses of test or an oral at times - but it always seems I do best when I come off and then train to a level close to where I was while on cycle before going back on - and as stated constant pinning is exhausting to me too

And here I thought you were finally going to admit that the reason you're always so angry is because you're a closet homosexual and keeping it in all this time was destroying you as a person. I s'pose that will come eventually.
